Expect Excellence best describes the (CAAP) Council of African American Parents’ expectation of its student scholars. The CAAP program is a non-profit organization, with emphasis in a college preparatory schema based solely in academics, test preparation, study skills, cultural enrichment, self-awareness and confidence building from K through 12th grade and beyond. In its 32-year history over 4,000 students have come through the CAAP programs and have gone on to Medical, Engineering, Law and impressive Graduate programs across the country and abroad. The Reading Circle, Legacy, PALS, and JSW enrichment programs have contributed to the advancement and success of our CAAP Scholars.

Our mission to enhance the educational opportunities of students through academics, social activities and cultural awareness remain at the forefront of our organizational agenda. Our menu of services for scholars and parents is reflected in our ability to develop and implement programming that supports our mission.

We are extremely grateful for your support of CAAP by participating in our programs — it really does take a village to raise a child.

Thank you again!
